You will receive your explanations of benefits in the mail from your insurance company.

How long will it take to get things settled with the insurance company?

It depends on your insurance company. Most take 4-6 weeks.



Why am I getting bills from physicians?

​If the insurance company didn't pay for the service or if the treatment wasn't covered by your insurance, you will receive a bill. If your deductible has not yet been yet you could receive a bill based on your insurance agreement.  If you did not pay a co-pay while in the office, the insurance company could bill home.



I received a notice that my insurance company has paid on my bill - but I can't understand how they calculated their payment amount. Do you know?​

​Your insuance company would be the best place to start. Next, call the office and ask the secretary for the billing companies number and she can assist you with the rest.
